You can get a copy of our software from our website at any time.

Simply find the relevant product page from our home page, click on Download and follow the simple instructions.

Users who have downloaded and installed in the past using our Installation Workbook method or zip file will find it has again changed - unfortunately the advent of Windows Vista forced the change. If your version was installed from one of these methods you will need to uninstall your old version - please contact us for details.

If you are upgrading, follow the instructions on the product page .

Once installed, most add-ins will create new PATools menu items from which you can run this software:

Users of Excel 2007 and later will find these on the add-ins tab.

Initially the software will be running on an evaluation license, which means that you can use it for as long as you wish but there will be some restriction eg on how many items it will process (see each product page for the specific restrictions on each particular product).

Trouble-shooting

2. 'I have no menu item for PATools'

Occasionally you may lose the PATools menu items, for example if Excel crashes.

To resolve this, simply open the workbook you previously downloaded, or download and install anew.

3. Installation fails due to an older version (pre-xls) being in use.

You need to do a complete uninstall and new installation as follows:
First, using your keyboard within Excel, enter ALT and then T and then "I" (uppercase letter i), and uncheck the PATools software, and then click OK.
Second, use this link to remove any menu items for the offending software:

Third, download the latest PATools software and overwrite your existing file (you can also delete any older PATools files).
Finally open in Excel and all should be well.
